Outside Sales Representative – Hamilton

Vertical’s Client is currently looking for a business-to-business outside sales superstar living in the west GTA to drive significant growth to their business!  Our client continues to drive significant growth in their business and our looking to expand their technical sales team!

JOB DUTIES:

  • Manage existing customer base & maximize revenues and relationship with existing clients
  • Territory is West GTA (Highway 400 west to Hamilton);
  • Selling capital-intensive industrial compressed air equipment, as well as non-capital equipment
  • Selling skilled service & service contracts to end users, for all makes, models and vintages of compressed air equipment
  • Prospecting for new business by gaining referrals from existing clients, exploring personal and professional networks, and self-generated leads & opportunities
  • Assess clients’ needs and requirements, and tailor customized solutions
  • Identify opportunities to gain additional business through existing client relationships
  • Prepare quotations and deliver presentations
  • Prepare business cases for capital projects
  • Cultivate partnerships and relationships with key industry contacts, including local electricity distribution companies, industry groups & engineering firms
  • Ability to learn, understand and apply technical engineering concepts & information
  • Problem solve on a daily basis in fast paced, critical-application environment

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

The primary experience needed for the Outside Business-to-Business Sales Representative will include:

  • 5 years of Business-to-Business sales experience are preferred; minimum of 1 year required
  • Minimum Grade 12

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to develop strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and industry partners
  • Tangible track record in sales proving commitment and consistent growth & goal achievement
  • Strong observational & problem solving skills
  • Communication skills; written, verbal and non-verbal

COMPENSATION:

  • 45K Base Annually
