About Our Client

We have some job orders from various clients who are looking for experienced painters in commercial, office, and industrial construction projects of all sizes.

What You Will Be Doing, as a Painter:

• Read specifications to determine quantities of materials required
• Prepare and clean surfaces using methods such as scraping, sanding; remove old wallpaper and loose paint; repair cracks and holes in walls; and sandpaper and apply sealer
• Mix and thin paint to obtain desired color and texture
• Apply paint or other materials, such as stains, lacquer, enamel, oil, varnish, fiberglass, metal coating or fire retardant using brushes, rollers or spray equipment

What You Should Have, as a Painter:

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar role
• Attention to detail
• Good verbal communication
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions
• Hard-working and motivated
• Focused on client satisfaction
• Positive attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Open toward coaching and constructive criticisms

In Return, You Will Receive:

• $18.00 to 18.50 per hour

The Shift You Will be Working is:

• Monday to Friday work schedule (6 AM to 6 PM)
• Some weekends as per client’s needs

Where You Will Be Working, as a Painter:

• Carling/Cole South
• Easy bus access from all over Ottawa
