Order Desk Clerk – Hamilton

Order Desk Customer Service Representative Needed

Vertical Staffing is currently one of Canada’s fifty fastest growing start-up companies and we are looking to connect great workers with great clients! Our client in Hamilton is looking to add a customer service representative to work the front desk at their location in a full time long term role. The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of tools and equipment used in construction settings and have worked in a related industry.

The client is a growing branch and there may be opportunity to grow into other roles in the future as that growth continues. Ideal candidates will have previous experience working an order desk where they quoted prices and processed orders in a related industry.

Job Duties

Answering phones and email correspondence
Dealing with customers coming in for orders and payments
Processing payments
Preparing quotes and price lists
Placing orders for purchase
Maintaining accurate logs and paperwork
Other office duties as assigned

$23.00 per hour
Hours of Work

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Straight Day Shift

Punctual and reliable
Excellent customer service
Excellent attention to detail
Familiarity with tools and manufacturing equipment an asset

Must have previous customer service experience in a related industry
Post Secondary Education in Business or related field considered a strong asset
Order desk experience considered a strong asset
Must be bondable
